~ Katalina - The End
Views: 2244 | | | | | Katalina at The Redstone Room for another crowd-pleasing show. DVD copies of shows are available for purchase $15.00 each. Just e-mail the Sunday Night Music Show to obtain your full length DVD of this program.
GET ON THE SHOW
Many inquiries are comin ...More g in for info on "what's it take to get on The Sunday Night Music Show?" THAT AND "do you have the trailer for sale?" So I'll try to answer some of those concerns here.
First off---NO, It's NOT MY Trailer. And if it's yours would you please take my phone number off of it? I could have sold it a hundred times by now, and you have missed that many interested individuals, some of them may have had a pocket full of cash. This has been going on for two years now, ya fool! You're probably sitting there wondering why nobody has called!
And now to the show---
Costs of production of the Sunday Night Music Show are offset by sales of DVD's as well as direct contributions from musicians and venues.
We feel that inclusion of oneself in the line-up of The Sunday Night Music Show has the same potential positive results in terms of exposure and broadening of ones fan base and enhanced attendance at shows as any other advertising format. Un-fortunately the price of gas and other on-going production and equipment costs make it no longer possible to continue to offer free videotaping services. As with everything, there are expenses involved. I have found, however, that when I charge up-front for videotaping services that the seriousness level of the tapees is usually higher and more professional, and they realize it's no longer a joke or a hobby when THEY have something on the line and invested in gaining for the bands and locations more advertising and publicity, which in turn gains them more customers and fans, keeps the doors open, and fills in more dates on the calendar.
The direct cost to performers for the production of one YouTube posted video and one DVD copy of the entire Sunday Night Music Show (maximum Length: 59 minutes) would be minimally $65.00. Additional DVD's are $15.00 each.
Costs, contributions, expectations, and requirements from venues and locations depends on several unique factors including (but not limited to) the price of a cheeseburger and a bowl of soup. And just how occasionally DO you want the location hospitality featured on The Sunday Night Music Show to become known as one of our top-notch, premier area venues?
Basicaly, aside from the above, all I need is the go ahead from all band members and the owners of the location. We will produce a (up to 59 minute) program to be shown on public access tv and from that we would post clips of (preferrably original) songs on YouTube, which you can then link to from your band or venue MySpace or other websites. This serves to give the bands as well as the locations a lot of cross-linked-exposure and something tangible to show off to the Whole Wide World World Wide Web, Double Double DoubleYou Style.
On a different note! It's not possible for me to keep track of every schedule of every band and venue. There are some websites that attempt this and I thank them for their hard work and dedication to the cause of keeping us all informed.
The only schedule that I am able to have any control over is my own, but that gets frustrating and conflicting sometimes too. The best way to "get on The Sunday Night Music show" would be to send me an e-mail (early, before any body else) with your request for a specific date, time and location at the address here on MySpace or to phone
563-571-5012.
Looking forward to another great show, but let's capture it this time.
Thanks,
Brad Hesford
p.s.---We will make every effort to produce a program that we and you will be proud of, however, technical problems and alchohol-fueled funny bunnies can and will destroy the best of intentions, sometimes intentionally on purpose, by action or word. Please only hold us to things in our control. |

often cured Its by simply changing and improving the patient's diet. Medical techniques are designed specifically for each patient".No one needs to live with pain, fear or disease. We are all individually responsible for the quality and condition of our health. I support the use of natural, non-invasive therapies. I will guide my patients past a reliance
on the more external modalities of treatments such as drugs and surgery.
Both the Perfect Health Institute and the Double Helix Medical Corporation support the use of diet as the body's natural medicine. Used in combination with hen vitamins from food sources and appropriate
physical activity and mental conditioning, the body begins to heal and the aging process slows or reverses itself.

...:::Reach Out:::...
From the minute that you walked right through the door
Hallucinations i ...More n my mind time to explore
I tell my friends that I just gotta have him
Don't look now, cause I see you staring at him
Then my vision had him walked on in the sides (?)
On a mission, for position at the end of the night
"It's like a crave, hey baby" said the hunter
You better run for it time to just surrender
and all I need is to feel you
All I want is to feel you
CHORUS:
Reach Out And Touch Me
That's all I've gotta say
Reach Out And Touch Me
I got you baby
I'm a diamond and you're so on the money
Reach Out And Touch Me
And all I need is to feel you
Reach Out And Touch Me
Like a crib, one touch can take you there
Ain't no one, you & me in a secret affair
And boy you kill me in the middle of nowhere
Tried to hurry back but I can't control it
So if I'm flirtin' to you, see what the hell you
doin?
Grab your hand and pull you closer to me yeah
I'll leave the doors open and look we'll start to
kissing
But you're invited to my fan-ta-ta-sy
And all I need is to feel you
All I want is to feel you
CHORUS:
Reach Out And Touch Me (Reach Out)
That's all I've gotta say (Touch me baby)
Reach Out And Touch Me
I got you baby
I'm a diamond and you're so on the money
Reach Out And Touch Me (Reach Out And Touch Me)
Reach Out And Touch Me (Oooooh)
Reach Out And Touch Me (Oooooh)
I'm a diamond and you're so on the money
Reach Out And Touch Me
And all I need is to feel you
Reach Out And Touch Me
Baby can't you see how you're affecting me?
Baby sensual, physical, fantasy
Maybe, fate brought the two of close
Don't you wanna? Don't you wanna ?
Don't you wanna? Don't you wanna?
Reach Out And Touch Me
CHORUS:
Reach Out And Touch Me (Reach Out)
That's all I've gotta say
Reach Out And Touch Me
I got you baby
I'm a diamond and you're so on the money

~ Ale to juz bylo... cover Maryla Rodowicz
Views: 17617 | | | | | WARNING: I sing on that video, be careful!
Maryla Rodowicz - It has already been
From many stoves I've eaten bread
As I've been observing the world for years
Sometimes a headache struck in the morning
They were saying the climate changes
Somet ...More imes there was a great party
Or a proletarian fete
Sometimes journey is the best of cars
More often though dull local roads
Refrain:
But it has already been and it won't return
And though so much has happened,
Stupid heart keeps surging onward
But it has already been, disappeared behind us
Though on paper we're much older
Truth be told we're still the same
Music records on a bookstand
Newspapers full of interviews
Another dawn outside the windows
Children's breaths in the bedroom
They are flying towards the stars
Through a blue ocean of heaven
But they too after some time
Will be able to sing for themselves:
Refrain...
English lyrics by leszek1000
Thanks to my friend Tutek (he is not member of Youtube community) I had a chance to recover my old records. This song has been recorded few years ago (am i that old to say few years ago???) while I was assigned to army!
Yes - I was a soldier!!!
I used to play music with my two dear friends during military events, wedding parties etc... That was good time - what I remember is that we had no responsibilities at all, as long as we could play the music. Easy job!
Song has 4 tracks - 2 guitars. vocal (I was talking instead of singing), and little yellow bird. The doors played a part, too!
Song is in polish, and it is about how life and events pass away while we get older.
Pictures from my weeknd trip to one of the most beautiful places in Europe (or the World) with my bro, good memories, and it passed away, so it seems to be adequate to the lyrics...

My entry for the Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare rap contest, started by hammerhead with Call in the Helicop
When your in warfare of modern craze
ya play blazed for days and days
til caught ...More in a maze of pipelines
airstrikes and lifelines
snipers take you out hidden spot in the pine
needles of the tree, where the be, oh g
time to put my acog on the M-16
their seen, hold R1 and I do my thing
go and end their kill streak just to save my team
that's how it be, when you #@!& me, I'm prestige
level 55 #@!&, golden guns, no need
Uav Jammed with a silenced P-90
So try and find me cause I'm prone in the grass so tiny
I'ma take my last stand, desert eagle in hand
and blow your brains out like you klu-klux-clan
Cause misery loves company every way
so I'll hold on my grenade and blow us both away
pull back on the sniper, hope wearing a diaper
.50 cal no scoped, Barret up in blue tiger
1 shot on lock, strike quick like a viper
with one last pop, I call the chopper on hyper
saving the day, no need for AK
I spray automatic, don't panic I know it's tragic
but when you mess with [iGod]Jman2107
I'll have ya respawning just about 11
different times in a match, your head you'll scratch
Your the one that sees me first, yet I'm falling last
I surpass the best of the best non-stop
when time runs out, you know who will be on top
you didn't even know when I saw you in strike
dead silenced crept fast with a FFFFT of my knife
end you your life, I'm lacking in nice
so found ya seconds later n went n killed twice
what a sensation I cause humiliation
getcha back stabbed dragged, you felt the vibration
in the controller, I'm the eye of beholder
My uzi's taken names, gets your blood running colder
now ya gettin' bolder in the microphone
screaming and swearing bout to blow your load
but #@!& gets old it's no longer cute, so I go and press select find ya name 'n' mute
stuck in backlot, bloodstained wall back drop
game of domination got A n C a taken
In the CoD a nation, I lose control
I rock and Roll, while I lock and load
from C4 to claymores
posted through the doors
mounted machine gun
what I got in store
tore more gore while I mop the floor
with your faces shown disgrace in different places
If ya wanna challenge me to one cage match
i'll blast a flash patch dispatch some whoop ass
while you blind, time after time
kill after kill, and it's all in good rhyme
cause jay chi needs to be all he can be
one fond recon of a #@!&ing Marine
stealthy in the trees gone dressing in green
going pop pop pop that's 1-2-3
Call the UAV, thanks to me
now were taking names like the
GOV---ERN--M-ENT, recruiting teens shooting throughout history
go blast the RPG, sonic boomin' the LAN line
play hop-scotch on land mines, tough talking to man kind
I'm walking towards my fine time to shine
a buckwild child with a veteran mind
out in real life where there's no time for knifes
where 10 man stand with a gun in strife
over sea'd Humvee'd and only 19
holding flanks with tanks so try 'n' hunt the
this is just as realistic as a true life raid
the only difference is I can still get laid
I don't get paid to play but hey
this is Call of Duty 4 Best game ever made! |

Eva Cassidy - Somewhere Over the Rainbow For M
Artist: Eva Cassidy
A video in support of Same-Sex Marriage
May 15, 2008 at 2:47 PM EDT
SAN FRANCISCO — In a monumental victory for the gay rights movement, the California Supreme Court ove ...More rturned a voter-approved ban on gay marriage Thursday in a ruling that would allow same-sex couples in the nation's biggest state to tie the knot.
Domestic partnerships are not a good enough substitute for marriage, the justices ruled 4-3 in striking down the ban.
Outside the courthouse, gay marriage supporters cried and cheered as the news spread.
Jeanie Rizzo, one of the plaintiffs, called Pali Cooper, her partner of 19 years, and asked, "Pali, will you marry me?"
Internet Links
Interactive: Gay marriage in Canada
"This is a very historic day. This is just such freedom for us," Ms. Rizzo said. "This is a message that says all of us are entitled to human dignity."
In the Castro, historically a center of the gay community in San Francisco, Tim Oviatt started crying while watching the news on TV.
"I've been waiting for this all my life," he said. "This is a life-affirming moment."
The city of San Francisco, two dozen gay and lesbian couples and gay rights groups sued in March 2004 after the court halted the monthlong wedding march that took place when Mayor Gavin Newsom opened the doors of City Hall to same-sex marriages.
Somewhere over the Rainbow - Eva Cassidy
"Today the California Supreme Court took a giant leap to ensure that everybody — not just in the state of California, but throughout the country — will have equal treatment under the law," said City Attorney Dennis Herrera, who argued the case for San Francisco.
The challenge for gay rights advocates, however, is not over.
A coalition of religious and social conservative groups is attempting to put a measure on the November ballot that would enshrine laws banning gay marriage in the state constitution.
The Secretary of State is expected to rule by the end of June whether the sponsors gathered enough signatures to qualify the marriage amendment, similar to ones enacted in 26 other states.
If voters pass the measure in November, it would trump the court's decision.
California already offers same-sex couples who register as domestic partners the same legal rights and responsibilities as married spouses, including the right to divorce and to sue for child support.
But, "Our state now recognizes that an individual's capacity to establish a loving and long-term committed relationship with another person and responsibly to care for and raise children does not depend upon the individual's sexual orientation," Chief Justice Ron George wrote for the court's majority, which also included Justices Joyce Kennard, Kathryn Werdegar and Carlos Moreno.
In a dissenting opinion, Justice Marvin Baxter agreed with many arguments of the majority but said the court overstepped its authority. Changes to marriage laws should be decided by the voters, Baxter wrote. Justices Ming Chin and Carol Corrigan also dissented.
The conservative Alliance Defense Fund says it plans to ask the justices for a stay of their decision until after the fall election, said Glen Lavey, senior counsel for the group.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has twice vetoed legislation that would've granted marriage rights to same-sex couples, said in a news release that he respected the court's decision and "will not support an amendment to the constitution that would overturn this state Supreme Court ruling."
The only other U.S. state that currently allows gay marriage is Massachusetts -- its supreme court ruled in 2003 the ban on same sex marriage was unconstitutional. Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Vermont allow same sex civil unions that include similar rights as married couples, including tax benefits, insurance coverage and hospital visiting rights but fail to provide the full federal legal protections of marriage.
Maine, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, and Washington all provide same sex couples some legal rights.

~ Barack Obama | Hillary Clinton | Oakland Rally
Views: 7567 | | | | | http://zennie2005.blogspot.com - Sunday September 30th 2007 was a day that featured an event I seriously doubt will ever be replayed in my lifetime, or yours. On a day where Senator and Presidential Candidate Hilliary Clinton was expected to be the host ...More of a rally in Downtown Oakland, California, local and state organizers with the Obama for America campaign held a rally of their own to open the new Northern California field office. An office located not just in Downtown Oakland, but only two blocks from where Senator Clinton was to speak.
The Obama people blocked off a one-block stretch of land between 14th and Broadway and 14th and Franklin, and erected a stage for bands, then opened the doors of their new Oakland home at 436 14th Street, Suite 305.
For a time, it seemed as if there were more Obama supporters than Clinton supporters, and that was because there were. As time went on, many of the estimated 5,000 people that came to hear Senator Clinton seemed to be causal attendees.
Each one of which was greeted by the smiles and waving signs of Obama supporters. It was a total circus that was a peaceful, fun Democratic Party fest, where everyone was actually quite happy to see the friendly competition for attention -- from people and the media.
What this says about politics today is simple: people are energized and will turn out to vote in large numbers. What's striking about today's event was how excited people were to be involved and to debate and talk about issues. In the video that comes with this, the opinions expressed are not of the minority. There was no one unhappy with the proceedings, there were no fights of any note, and you'd have to be a proctologist to find any.
This is certainly the most exciting Presidential race I've seen, and it's good for the City of Oakland to have another day in the spotlight during this contest. Moreover, it showed the best of the Obama campaign in how they conducted themselves, as they outnumbered the Clinton die-hards and could have been rude and nasty, but were anything but.
At the end of the video, a Clinton volunteer said she wanted to see both Obama and Clinton on the ticket. I agree. I think everyone wants to see that, judging from today's events. |

~ 2003-1 Tab Manor for the Criminally Insane (Halloween)
Views: 7154 | | | | | Part 1 of 2 - Every October each department in my company dresses up their area for Halloween and competes against the other departments. In 2003 my department created an insane asylum among the cubicles. We won "Best of Show" for that year. The video ...More quality is poor because I took it with my still digital camera's video feature (and their was very low light levels).
The storyline:
A nurse greets each group of "new patients" as they are checked into the asylum. They are given a quick tour of the facilities before being shown to their rooms. The first area after entering the building is the security area. The security guard could monitor all activities via video cameras. Being shown on the monitor are scenes of Dr. Tab's Surgery and, voyeuristically, the security guard often watches the nurses as well. Working in an insane asylum has it's drawbacks and unfortunately the guard on duty has cut off his own head with a butcher's knife.
In the next area the tour sees many of the inmates/patients in a waiting room area, hitting each other, playing games or watching TV (which only has snowy static on it). Weird music is heard making the new patients feel uneasy. Some patients just rock back and forth, one quietly sits in a corner petting hit pet rat.
The new patients follow the nurse through a door and into a long black hallway only to pass through another door to find themselves in Dr. Tab's surgery. He is currently operating on a patient. You can see the patient's belly has been cut open and his guts a coming out. Wait, is this patient still awake?
The nurse tells each patient to take their meds to calm them down. Once this is done they are told to follow the hallway to their rooms on their own. Someone will be in shortly to take care of them. The medication must be very strong because the music in their heads is getting weirder and the lights start flashing on and off very quickly. The hallway is difficult to maneuver as there are many things bouncing off of the patients...[or at least this was supposed to happen. We used about 100 balloons hanging from the ceiling to simulate the body bag thing I was so creeped out by at Knott's Scary Farm. However almost everyone just ducked and walked under the balloons down the entire hallway instead of walking through them. But, at the very end as they stood back up they would end up face to face with a very scary looking old vampire dude.]
The meds are really in high gear now as the next room is full of brightly glowing dots. Suddenly a man covered in dots pops right out of the wall. He must have been standing there the entire time.
As the patients duck to go through the next door (are the doors getting smaller or am I getting bigger?) a patient with giant eyes and a weird stare greets them. It's a bit of a shock. A sign tells us that we are heading towards the "shrink" and on the smallest door yet it says, "Dr. Nudds, Psychiatrist," but someone has crossed out the D's and put T's instead.
The patients pass through another long dark hallway and the music gets creepier. The patients see flashing lights coming from a window. When they get to the window they see a man in a white padded room bouncing off the walls and begging them to help him. But they continue on, seeing an exit sign. This is the only way to escape Dr. Tab's evil asylum! |
