i've been to ground zero. i don't say that to dismiss the reality of the horrible event and lives lost. i just don't understand why the people who are responsible for the death aren't in jail or even put on trial. i' ...More m not saying that it is any one person in particular i just want to see justice, not a war.

I Ain't Goin' Out Like That".

Lyrics
It's a mystery to me
we have a greed
with which we have agreed
You think you have to want
more than you need
until you have it all you won't be free
Society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without ...More me
When you want more than you have
you think you need
and when you think more than you want
your thoughts begin to bleed
I think I need to find a bigger place
'cos when you have more than you think
you need more space
Society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
Society, crazy and deep
I hope you're not lonely without me
There's those thinking more or less less is more
but if less is more how you're keeping score?
Means for every point you make
your level drops
kinda like it's starting from the top
you can't do that...
Society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
Society, crazy and deep
I hope you're not lonely without me
Society, have mercy on me
I hope you're not angry if I disagree
Society, crazy and deep
I hope you're not lonely without me |

ANGUS YOUNG - Most rock fans would agree that AC/DC guitarist Angus Young is one of the genre's most energetic and entertaining performers. It's impossible to imagine an AC/DC show without Young bobbing his head up and down in time to the music, playing amped up Chuck Berry licks on his Gibson SG guitar, shirtless and drenched in sweat. Copyright - 1970 EMI Records Ltd.
"I've Got a Feeling" is a song by The Beatles, from the 1970 album Let It Be. It is actually a combination of two u ...More nfinished songs strung together: Paul McCartney's "I've Got a Feeling" and John Lennon's "Everybody Had a Hard Year", with the main guitar riff coming from Lennon's unfinished "Watching Rainbows". McCartney's song was written for his girlfriend Linda Eastman, whom he soon married, telling her that she was the girl he had always been looking for. Lennon's song was a litany where every line started with the word "everybody".
While McCartney's song was very optimistic, Lennon had actually had a hard year - he had divorced his wife, Cynthia Powell, was estranged from his son Julian Lennon, his girlfriend Yoko Ono had a miscarriage, he was arrested for drug possession, and he had grown deeply unhappy in the Beatles.
In the film Let It Be, Lennon claims jokingly he wrote "Everybody Had a Hard Year" the night before.
The song was covered by Billy Preston, who played keyboard on the recording, on his Encouraging Words album. Another version of the song was made by the fictional band BECK (Mongolian Chop Squad) in the 2004 Japanese anime and manga Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad.
Pearl Jam covered the song and it is featured on the "covering" bootleg album, the band covered the song around 25 times from 1991 to 1994. Tesla included the song on the 2007 Real to Reel covers album.
Recorded 30 January 1969 (rooftop concert)
Lyrics:
I've got a feeling, a feeling deep inside, oh yeah
Oh, yeah, that's right
I've got a feeling, a feeling I can't hide, oh no no
oh no, oh no
Yeah, yeah
I've got a feeling, yeah
Oh please believe me, I'd hate to miss the train
Oh yeah yeah oh yeah
And if you leave me, I won't be late again
oh no, oh no, oh no
yeah, yeah
I've got a feeling, yeah
I've got a feeling
All these years I've been wandering around
wondering how come nobody told me
All that I was looking for was somebody
who looked like you
I've got a feeling that keeps me on my toes
oh yeah, oh yeah
I've got a feeling that everybody knows
oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
yeah, yeah
I've hot a feeling, yeah
Yeah
Everybody had a hard year
Everybody had a good time
Everybody had a wet dream
Everybody saw the sun shine
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Everybody had a good year
Everybody let their hair down
Everybody pulled their socks up
Everybody put their foot down
oh yeah
Everybody had a good year
Everybody had a hard time
Everybody had a wet dream
Everybody saw the sun shine
Everybody had a good year
Everybody let their hair down
Everybody pulled their socks up
Everybody put their foot down
oh yeah
I've got a feeling
I've got a feeling
I've got a feeling, yeah |

~ The 50 Greatest Bands Of All Time
Views: 196764 | | | | | Due to my video being removed because a copyright owner has claimed it owns some of the audio content in my video. The funny thing is he/she removed the song on this video that was placed at number one.
Eh. Whatever.
Here is a list of the top 50 gr ...More eatest bands of all time.
*****
As requested for me to say by many comments:
This is based upon my opinionated rankings.
You probably could have figured that out by reading the information below. But you're probably too cool and busy for that.
*****
Total estimated time: 32 hours. 8 days of work, 4 hours a day.
Post your top 10 in the comments!
Warning: Do not look below unless you wish to know the order of the bands and the songs on the video.
I have used Microsoft Excel to determine which bands deserved the spots. I used the following categories to place them in their correct order:
-U.S. Sales (Out of 100)
-Songs and Songwriting (Out of 100)
-Technical Ability (Out of 100)
-Innovation (Out of 100)
-Live Performance (Out of 50)
-Consistency (Out of 50)
Idea & Template taken from:
http://www.avrev.com/bands/
EDIT: Haha, I love some of the mean comments on here. I was hoping it would generate some good discussion. If you disagree with my list, I feel that making your own list would be a more reasonable way of showing it other than just sitting there and bashing mine.
And to everyone out there who says this list sucks because one or two of your favorite bands weren't on here OR a band you happen to dislike was on here, get over yourself. People have different taste in music.

I tried not to be bias during the making of this list, which was hard because my favorite band, AC/DC, was only ranked 19th. They just didn't have much Innovation.
And yeah, I know that's not a picture of Boston. Sorry, Google Images tricked me.
OH and to everyone who says that The Beatles should be number 1:
While The Beatles were undoubtedly higher in U.S. Sales, Songwriting, and Innovation, they lacked the most in their Technical Ability, ranking a 79/100, while Led Zeppelin ranked a 98/100. Led Zeppelin also ranked higher in Live Performance and Consistency. So, if you were wondering how it was possible, there you go.
Other bands that were nearly included were:
Velvet Underground, Prince & The Revolution, Foo Fighters, System Of A Down, The Cars, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jethro Tull, Sublime, ZZ Top, ABBA, Chicago, Dire Straits, Talking Heads, The Band, The Proclaimers, Duran Duran, Primus, Sex Pistols, Lynyrd Skynyrd, R.E.M., The Jackson 5, Motley Crue, Motorhead, Radiohead, Kansas, The Scorpions, Judas Priest, Sly and the Family Stone, Audioslave, Blondie, The Carpenters, Dixie Chicks, Parliament Funkadelic, King Crimson, Bad Religion, No Doubt, Deep Purple, James Brown and the JBs, and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
Enjoy! |

~ Eddie Vedder - Society - Into the Wild Soundtrack
Views: 364702 | | | | | Soundtrack from Into the Wild - by Eddie Vedder. This is also a tribute to Christopher McCandless.
Based on a true story. After graduating from Emory University in 1992, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave hi ...More s entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life.
Song Lyrics:
hmmm ooh hooo hooo
It's a mistery to me
we have a greed
with which we have agreed
You think you have to want
more than you need
until you have it all you won't be free
society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
When you want more than you have
you think you need
and when you think more than you want
your thoughts begin to bleed
I think I need to find a bigger place
'cos when you have more than you think
you need more space
society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
society, crazy and deep
I hope you're not lonely without me
there's those thinking more or less less is more
but if less is more how you're keeping score?
Means for every point you make
your level drops
kinda like its starting from the top
you can't do that...
society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
society, crazy and deep
I hope you're not lonely without me
society, have mercy on me
I hope you're not angry if I disagree
society, crazy and deep
I hope you're not lonely without me |

Tainted misery.

Innocence corrode.

Catatonic overload.
Choke... Asphyxia
Snuff reality.

Incinerate ce ...More lebrity.
Reaper... Butchery
Karma amputee.
Bloodline... Redefine
Death contagious deity.
Hooked into this deceiver
Need more and more
Into the endless fever
Need more and more
New consequence machine
You burn through all your gasoline.
Asylum overtime
Nevermind...
You've reached the end of the line.
Time... Choke the clock
Steal another day.
Die... Faithfully
Narcissistic fade away.
Twisted... Jump the rail
Shatter the crowd below.
Breaker... Chase the ghost
From latest high to alltime low.
Hooked into this deceiver

You burn through all your gasoline.

You've reached the end of the line.
Drop the hourglass of time

As we gather here today
We bid farewell...
