Lyrics:
Every night i just wanna go out, get out of my head
Every day i don't want to get up, get out of my bed
Every night i want to play out
And every day i want to do ooh ooh oh oh
But tonight i just want to stay in
And be with you,
And be with you
Ooh .............
Ooh ..............
Believe me mama
Every day i lean on a lamp post, i'm wasting my time
Every day i lay on a pillow, i'm resting my mind
Every morning brings a new day
Every night that day is through ooh ooh oh oh
But tonight i just want to stay in
And be with you,
And be with you
Ooh .............
Ooh ..............
Believe me mama ooh .............
Ooh .............. |

"Maybe I'm Amazed" is a song written by Paul McCartney that was first released on his McCartney album on April 17, 1970. Although the studio version from the album McCartney was ne ...More ver released as a single, it still remains one of McCartney's most treasured songs. Originally, McCartney dedicated the song to his wife, Linda, who had helped him during the break-up of the Beatles.
McCartney wrote the song in 1969, just after The Beatles' breakup. He credited his wife Linda with helping him get through the difficult time. This is one of the five songs that he wrote for her, the other four being "I Will", Two of Us", "The Lovely Linda" and "My Love".
The original studio version of the song ended with a fade instead of a full ending, but McCartney later composed an ending that can be heard on the live versions of the song. A live recording from the 1976 album Wings over America was released as a single by McCartney's band Wings on February 4, 1977 and became a top 10 hit in the United States, peaking at #10 on the singles chart. Versions of the song can be heard on several other live McCartney albums including Back in the U.S. and Back in the World. "Maybe I'm Amazed" has become a centrepiece of McCartney's concerts, along with "Band on the Run" and "Live and Let Die".
Regarded as one of McCartney's finest love songs, it achieved the #338 position in the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list compiled by Rolling Stone magazine in November 2004, and is the only solo McCartney song to make the list.
Lyrics:
Maybe I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time
Maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you
Maybe I'm amazed at the way you pulled me out of time
And hung me on a line
Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you
Maybe I'm a man maybe I'm a lonely man
Who's in the middle of something
That he doesn't really understand
Maybe I'm a man and maybe you're the only woman
Who could ever help me
Baby won't you help me understand,
Maybe I'm a man, maybe I'm a lonely man
Who's in the middle of something
That he doesn't really understand
Maybe I'm a man and maybe you're the only woman
Who could ever help me
Baby won't you help me understand, oohhh
Maybe I'm amazed at the way you're with me all the time
Maybe I'm afraid of the way I leave you
Maybe I'm amazed at the way you help me sing my song
Right me when I'm wrong
Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you
Oh maybe I'm amazed.
Maybe I'm amazed.
Yeah, yeah yeah.
Yeah, Maybe I'm amazed.
I'm amazed, with you.
Oo-oo. Oo-oo. |

PAUL McCARTNEY - James Paul McCartney, was born June 18, 1942 at Walton Hospital where his mother had worked as a nurse. Walton Hospital is in the northern part of Liverpool not far from Paul's teen-age home at 20 Forthlin Road, Liverpool. McCartney first rose to fame as the bassist, pianist, guitarist, singer and songwriter for The Beatles. He wrote many songs with John Lennon, though (excepting some of their early songs) they rarely wrote a song together; rather, one of them would write most of it and the other would finish it or make a few key changes; their partnership was more a competition than a collaboration. Nonetheless, due to an early agreement between the two, all Beatles songs written by either of them are credited to both. On Beatles records, the credit was...
