Lyrics:
Every night i just wanna go out, get out of my head
Every day i don't want to get up, get out of my bed
Every night i want to play out
And every day i want to do ooh ooh oh oh
But tonight i just want to stay in
And be with you,
And be with you
Ooh .............
Ooh ..............
Believe me mama
Every day i lean on a lamp post, i'm wasting my time
Every day i lay on a pillow, i'm resting my mind
Every morning brings a new day
Every night that day is through ooh ooh oh oh
But tonight i just want to stay in
And be with you,
And be with you
Ooh .............
Ooh ..............
Believe me mama ooh .............

~ Linda McCartney 1941 -1998
Linda McCartney passed away April 17, 1998.
She was an artist, musician, activist and Paul's Lovely Linda. His last words to her were the following: "You're up on your beautiful Appaloosa stallion. It's a fine spring day. We're riding ...More through the woods. The bluebells are all out, and the sky is clear-blue"
Funny thing is back on April 17th 2002, the fourth anniversary....I was in the audience of all places...Paul McCartney concert. He mentioned the anniversary, the whole place went silent. Then he played "My Love". It's one one of my fave moments of the concert.
Being a photographer, Linda is one of my idols. Her work is incredible and different.

Copyrigth - 1963 EMI Records Ltd.
"Don't Bother Me" is the first song written by George Harrison to appear on an album by The Beatles. I ...More t originally appeared on the group's With the Beatles album in the UK, released in 1963, and on their Meet the Beatles! album in the U.S., released in 1964.
History
Harrison wrote the song while sick in bed at a hotel room in Bournemouth, England (where The Beatles were playing some shows during the summer of 1963). Harrison never regarded it highly, stating on one occasion, "'It was a fairly crappy song. I forgot all about it completely once it was on the album." He considered it an exercise in whether he could write a song, later saying, "At least it showed me that all I needed to do was keep on writing and then maybe eventually I would write something good." Harrison receives a writing credit for two earlier songs, "In Spite of All the Danger" (Paul McCartney/Harrison) and "Cry for a Shadow" (Harrison/John Lennon). Both were recorded by The Beatles but neither was released officially by the band until 1995's Anthology 1 compilation (see 1995 in music). Because the former was largely a McCartney composition (Harrison received a credit simply for playing the guitar solo) and the latter was an instrumental pastiche of The Shadows, "Don't Bother Me" is considered Harrison's first song by most (including the author himself).
The sullen mood and desolate lyrics--"So go away, leave me alone, don't bother me"--were unusual for The Beatles at the time but would become characteristic for Harrison. The song mostly stays in a minor key and achieves a thick sound through its double-tracked vocal, reverbed guitars, and busy drumming. The elaborate percussion lends the song a Latin rhythm accentuated by its stop-time structure.
"Don't Bother Me" is one of several songs featured in A Hard's Day's Night, during a scene where The Beatles dance at a nightclub while Paul's grandfather gambles elsewhere.
Recorded 11-12 September 1963
Lyrics:
Since she's been gone
I want no one
to talk to me
It's not the same
but I'm to blame
It's plain to see
So go away and leave me alone
Don't bother me
I can't believe
that she would leave
me on my own
It's just not right
where every night
I'm all alone
I've got no time for you right now
Don't bother me
I know I'll never be the same
If I don't get her back again
because I know she'll always be
The only girl for me
But till she's here
please don't come near
just stay away
I'll let you know
when she's come home
Till that the day
Don't come around leave me alone
Don't bother me
I've got no time for you right now
Don't bother me
I know I'll never be the same
If I don't get her back again
because I know she'll always be
The only girl for me
But till she's here
please don't come near
just stay away
I'll let you know
when she's come home
Till that the day
Don't come around leave me alone
Don't bother me
Don't bother me

High Quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swQFTrGQnHk&feature=email&fmt=18
"It Won't Be Long" is the opening track on With the Beatles, and was the first original song recorded for the LP Although credited to Lennon ...More & McCartney, it was primarily a John Lennon composition, with Paul McCartney assisting with the lyrics and arrangement. The chorus is a play on the words "be long" and "belong" . The song features early Beatles' trademarks such as call-and-response yeah yeah's and scaling guitar riffs. Typical also of this phase of Beatles song writing is the melodramatic ending (similar to "She Loves You" which had just been recorded and was about to be released) where the music stops, allowing Lennon a brief solo vocal improvisation before the song finishes on a major seventh chord ("She Loves You" ends on a major sixth). There is an unusual middle eight - for what is, essentially, a rock and roll song - that uses chromatically descending chords.
The song was covered live by Franz Ferdinand and also by Evan Rachel Wood in the film Across the Universe.
Recorded July 30, 1963
Lyrics:
It won't be long yeh, yeh, yeh
It won't be long yeh, yeh, yeh
It won't be long yeh, till I belong to you
Every night when everybody has fun
Here am I sitting all on my own
It won't be long yeh, yeh, yeh
It won't be long yeh, yeh, yeh
It won't be long yeh, till I belong to you
Since you left me, I'm so alone
Now you're coming, you're coming on home
I'll be good like I know I should
You're coming home, you're coming home
Every night the tears come down from my eyes
Every day I've done nothing but cry
It won't be long yeh, yeh, yeh
It won't be long yeh, yeh, yeh
It won't be long yeh, till I belong to you
Since you left me, I'm so alone
Now you're coming, you're coming on home
I'll be good like I know I should
You're coming home, you're coming home
So every day we'll be happy I know
Not I know that you won't leave me no more
It won't be long yeh, yeh, yeh
It won't be long yeh, yeh
It won't be long yeh, till I belong to you, woo |

~ Fats Domino - Aint That A Shame
Views: 1996 | | | | | The most visible black performer of the 1950s and one of the originators of what would become rock and roll, Antoine "Fats" Domino began to develop his musical skills at a very early age, learning to play the piano from his brother-in-law Harrison Verrett ...More on an age-worn upright owned by his parents. Many of the members of his French-speaking, New Orleans-based family were involved in music, and by the time he was 10 it was clear that Fats was headed that direction himself; at the age of 14 -- having dropped out of school and taken a factory day-job to support himself -- he was already working professionally on the thriving local club circuit. The young performer quickly attracted a sizeable following with his blend of blues and boogie, and by 1949 was an established, popular attraction at the Hideaway Club, where he was leading his own band three nights a week.
The turning point for Domino's career came about in that year and at that club, when he was introduced to established trumpeter/performer Dave Bartholomew. Bartholomew had been enlisted as a talent scout by the Los Angeles-based Imperial Records label, and was well aware of Domino's growing popularity; after taking label owner Lew Chudd to see one of the Hideaway Club performances, a contract with the label was quickly arranged. Recording sessions were undertaken in December, during which eight tracks were completed -- amongst them Domino's signature tune The Fat Man, the traditional creole "good luck" song Hey La Bas, Hide Away Blues and the Bartholomew composition Boogie Woogie Baby. The release of Fat Man in 1950 was met with enthusiastic sales, pushing it up to the #2 slot in the R&B charts. Over the next couple years, songs like Every Night About This Time (1950), Goin' Home (which reached #1 in 1952) and Going To The River (also 1953) maintained his popularity and chart presence.
During this period, Domino and Bartholomew maintained a productive songwriting partnership, with Bartholomew also handling production duties for their sessions. In 1955 this partnership reached its peak, placing Domino back at the top of the R&B charts while also giving him a rare break into the mainstream pop top 10 with the song Ain't That a Shame (a song subsequently covered by honky crooner Pat Boone, who took it to #1). The duo continued to churn out hit songs throughout the rest of the decade, several of which were updated versions of old classics that have since eclipsed the original performances: My Blue Heaven (a big band favorite from the 1930's), When My Dreamboat Comes Home (previously recorded by Bing Crosby), and Blueberry Hill (originally performed by Gene Autry, but formerly a hit for both Louis Armstrong and Glenn Miller). Domino's charismatic stage presence was then captured for posterity in 1957 when he appeared in the rock and roll showcase/Jayne Mansfield jiggle-a-thon The Girl Can't Help It.
By the start of the 1960s, Fats Domino's golden era as a recording artist had ended. After his contract with Imperial expired in 1962, he was lured to ABC-Paramount by the offer of an extravagant sum of money, but his chart success evaporated almost immediately: the producers at ABC shipped the singer to Nashville and gave his songs the lavish, string-drenched treatment that was typical of the "Nashville sound" at the time, effectively alienating his rock and roll following while failing to find a new audience. A few songs still managed to creep into the top 40 during the early 60s (such as his version of Red Sails In The Sunset, 1963), but by the onslaught of the British Invasion at the end of '63, Domino's prominence in the recording industry had declined. Ironically, his final entry into the charts would be a 1968 cover of The Beatles' Lady Madonna -- a song with which Paul McCartney had made a conscious attempt to imitate Domino's distinctive style.
In 1986 Fats was picked as one of the first 10 inductees for the inaugural year of the Rock and Roll hall of Fame, and the following year he was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 30th annual Grammy ceremony. |

Every Night She Walks Right In My Dreams
Since I Met Her From The Start
I'm So Proud I Am The Only One

Saying That She's Yours Not Mine
Sending Roses And Your Silly Dreams
Really Just A Waste Of Time

Because She's Mine
The Doggone Girl Is Mine
Don't Waste Your Time
Because The Doggone Girl Is Mine
[Bridge (Paul)]

But I Love You Endlessly
(Loving We Will Share)

But We Both Cannot Have Her
So It's One Or The Other
And One Day You'll Discover
That She's My Girl Forever And Ever
[3rd Verse (Paul)]
I Don't Build Your Hopes To Be Let Down
'Cause I Really Feel It's Time
[Michael]
I Know She'll Tell You I'm The One For Her

Lyrics:
My great grandfather died this week,
I couldn't stand h ...More im, actually, nobody could,
But as soon as he passed away everybody went around saying,
What a top bloke he was,
So I'd like to dedicate this song to you gramps.
He was very hard of hearing,
He was dull and domineering,
Misogynist and Cantankerous and vain.
He hit the bottle every night,
He hit my grandma out of spite,
And those stories about his bunions were a pain,
But all that's now forgotten once he took his final breath,
Yes even pricks turn into top blokes after death
You don't believe me?
Allow me to furnish you with a few examples.
Steve Irwin lived in khaki,
A cartoon kamikaze,
Who taunted crocs and tots so frequently.
And Brockie was some rev head who pumped the air with pure lead,
So anti green he drove into a tree
But all that was forgotten once they took their final breath,
Yes even tools turn into top blokes after death.
John Lennon chose the hippie life,
He chose some nutbag for a wife,
And his songs were never quite as good as Paul's.
Jeff Buckley fooled all lovers just one album mostly covers,
With more wailing than japan does off our shores.
But all that was forgotten once he took his final breath,
Yes even wankers turn into top blokes after death.
Princess Di was just a slut for sex,
When they looked in the car at her dress,
Was wet with Arab semen stains.
Stan Zemanek was a racist jock,
A fatso xenophobic #@!&,
Whose views were more malignant than his brain.
But all that was forgotten once he took his final breath,
Yes even assholes turn into top blokes after death
It's not how they live that counts but how we rewrite the book,
When it comes to truth it comes best to use restraint.
It pays to throw away the facts,
And have a rose coloured look,
When he dies Martin Bryant will look a saint
Don Bradman was a total farcst,
A grumpy greedy tight ass,
Who couldn't even score one run last time he played.
Kerry packer was a brothel chief,
A tax cheat and a kidney thief,
And a procreating Jamie was the worst mistake he made
But all that was forgotten once he took his final breath
Yes even duck turn into top blokes after death
Belinda Emmett was a...
*interrupting* please please.
Yes, remember all will be forgotten once we take our final breath, yes
even pervert mother#@!&ers
even rampant child abusers
even local Bagdad looters
even baby bunny rooters
even reckless drunken drivers
even rodent sperm imbibers
even violet poofter bashers
even public penis flashers
even rotting corpse molesters
even human piss ingesters
even tiny kitten kickers
even anal finger lickers
even Anna bloody Coren
even she will be a top bloke after death.

Here it is, folks...
My great-grandfather died this week. I couldn't stand him, actually, nobody could, but as soon as he passed away everybody went around saying what a top bloke he was. I'd like to dedicate this song to you, Gramps.
He was very hard of hearing
He was dull and domineering
Misogynous, cantankerous and vain
He hit the bottle every night
He hit my grandma out of spite
And those stories about his bunions were a pain
But all that's now forgotten
Once he took his final breath
Yes, even pricks turn into top blokes after death
You don't believe me? Allow me to furnish you with a few examples.
Steve Irwin lived in khaki
A cartoon kamikaze
Who taunted crocs and tots so frequently
And Brocky was some revhead who pumped the air with pure lead
So anti-green he drove into a tree
But all that was forgotten
Once they took their final breath
Yes, even tools turn into top blokes after death
John Lennon chose the hippie life
He chose some nutbag for a wife
And his songs were never quite as good as Paul's
Jeff Buckley fooled all lovers
Just one album, mostly covers
With more whaling than Japan does off our shores
But all that was forgotten
Once he took his final breath
Yes, even wankers turn into top blokes after death
Princess Di was just a slut for sex
When they looked in the car wreck
Her dress was wet with Arab semen stains
Stan Zemanek was a racist jock
A fatso xenophobic #@!&
Whose views were more malignant than his brain
But all that was forgotten
Once he took his final breath
Yes, even arseholes turn into top blokes after death
It's not how they lived that counts, but how we re-write the book
When it comes to truth it's best to use restraint
It pays to throw away the facts and have a rose-coloured look
When he dies Martin Bryant will look a saint
Don Bradman was a total bastard
Grumpy, greedy, tight-arsed
Who couldn't even score one run last time he played
Kerry Packer was a brothel chief,
A tax cheat and a kidney thief
And procreating Jamie was the worst mistake he made
But all that was forgotten
Once he took his final breath
Yes, even c*nts turn into top blokes after death
Belinda Emmett was a.....
(anxious hushings by the other Chasers)
Remember all will be forgotten once we take our final breath
Yes even pervert mother#@!&ers
Even rampant child abusers
Even local Baghdad looters
Even baby bunny rooters
Even reckless drunken drivers
Even rodent sperm imbibers
Even violent p**fter bashers
Even public penis flashers
Even rotting corpse-molesters
Even human piss ingesters
Even tiny kitten kickers
Even anal finger lickers
Even Anna bloody Coren
Yes, even she will be a top bloke after death |
