**LYRICS**
La la la la la x 4
Here's a song
It remind ...More s me of when we were young
Looking back at all the things we've done
You gotta keep on keepin' on
Out to sea
Is the only place I am asleep
Can get myself some piece of mind
You know it's getting hard to fly
If I'm to fall
Would you be there to applaud
Or would you hide behind the law
Because If I am to go
In my heart you grow
And that's where you belong
If I'm to fall
Would you be there to applaud
Or would you hide behind the law
Because If I am to go
In my heart you grow
And that's where you belong
If I'm to fall
Would you be there to applaud
Or would you hide behind the law
Because If I am to go
In my heart you grow
And that's where you belong
Yes I'm out of time
I'm out of time
I'm out of time
I'm out of time
I'm out of time |

It should be noted that one of my "rules" when making these tributes is to try and showcase the exclusive games for each console, or the superior versions of multi platform games.

Views: 18958 | | | | | A tribute to the original rhythm guitarist of Oasis, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs. This track can be found on the vinyl issue of (What's the Story) Morning Glory. Bonehead was originally supposed to take the lead vocal, so he and Liam went out drinking to calm ...More his nerves, but Noel ending up doing the lead vocal in the end. A drunken reading of the lyrics (as well as chatter in the background throughout the song) from Liam and Bonehead can be heard at the conclusion of the song. |

~ Andrew Fletcher / Rebel Rebel / Depeche Mode Bowie
Views: 11894 | | | | | Sorry! Need help converting it to hear video. Until then check: http://covermebadd.com/09-16-06_2308.3g2
"Andrew Fletcher" by Blasphemous Guitars, sung to David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel". Per usual, we pull someone onstage to be the most talented member ...More of Depeche Mode, Andrew Fletcher. This guy was the best we've ever had, waving Greg's sword around and ending up with his pants down and grinding Adam from behind. Classic!
"Got some money in your hand
cos there's other talent in your band.
Hey Fletch, you're just cheerleadin'.
Hey Fletch, GO! FIGHT! WIN!
Someone unplugged your microphone.
You've got some keyboards but they ain't on!
Andrew Fletcher, you stand in the back.
Andrew Fletcher, you point & clap.
Andrew Fletcher, do what you're told.
Don't do nothin in Depeche Mode. ... (more)
"It's that sense of adventure and mischief that makes a set by (Cover Me Badd) or any of their countless offshoots so much fun. You never know what's going to happen."
-San Diego Union Tribune
San Diego's favorite everchanging coverband Cover Me Badd is currently doing a set of rocked out Depeche Mode songs as THE BLASPHEMOUS GUITARS. The new act takes the synthesizer driven hits of D-Mode, rocks them out with THREE guitarists, including 2005 San Diego Guitarmaggedon champ Greg Vaughan, and combines them with the most ridiculously unrelated songs ever. Whether you love or hate Depeche Mode, EVERYONE is floored by crazy combinations like "Just Can't Enough GnR", "The Beautiful People Are People" and "Never Let Me Freebird Again". Overly serious bands like the Cure and the Smiths are twisted up with bits of Whitney Houston and "Walking On Sunshine" like no band has ever done. They've played to thousands of fans at San Diego's House of Blues, Big Night San Diego, Spaceland, The Casbah, The Beauty Bar, Club Rock It and other top venues around southern California. Their recent Cure covers benefit raised $1800 for the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center.
Adam Gimbel started Cover Me Badd as a side project to be more interesting than the average coverband. CMB has been a tongue-in-cheek poetry act, a tribute to boyband pioneers, an Oasis parody (the Fookin' Wankers), an American Idol sendup, an old man Weezer coverband (Geezer) and Rabbi Gimbel's Jews Explosion, a Jewish rock extravaganza. Because of Gimbel's reputation and the band's unique brand of live mashups, The Blasphemous Guitars were featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune and SD CityBeat before they'd even played and booked for San Diego's largest New Year's Eve party sight unseen. Since then, their reputation has spread all over the world thanks to the internet. Because the acts are always done as a goof and all of the involved musicians have other full-time bands, their infrequent shows are always EVENTS. They are not to be missed. |

~ Arctic Monkeys - Dancing Shoes (Ekstreme Version)
Views: 11372 | | | | | At concerts, the band are better known for their sing-along nature and fan participation than for excessive lighting effects, pyrotechnics or other effects[citation needed], in a similar style to that of Oasis[citation needed]. Fans frequently join in, wi ...More th the entire intro to "When the Sun Goes Down" typically sung by the crowd.[12] However, their shows have sometimes been criticised by reviewers. For example, NME compared their performance at the 2006 Reading Festival unfavourably to that of Muse, who followed immediately after, using a multitude of fireworks and lighting effects, claiming that "in contrast to Muse's all-flashing, all-smoke-spewing, all-fire-raining slot, Arctic Monkeys simply stroll on without even the common courtesy of shoving up a backdrop", adding that band were too "self-conscious" and failed to be "the rock stars they've actually earned the right to be".[12]. Arctic Monkeys headlined the Glastonbury Festival on Friday 22 June 2007, the highlights of which were aired on BBC2. During their headline act, the band performed with Dizzee Rascal and covered Shirley Bassey's Diamonds Are Forever. [13] The band also played a large gig at Dublin's Malahide Castle on June 16, 2007, with a second date added the following day in response to high demand.[14] The band is also slated to play the Austin City Limits Festival in September 2007. The band played two shows at Cardiff International Arena on June 19th and June 20th 2007 will were supported by local friend of the band and his band, Reverend and the Makers. The band also headlined the Friday night of Glastonbury 2007, performing a much praised performance of 'Diamonds Are Forever' as a tribute to Shirley Bassey who was performing on the Sunday. Also seen was the first live performance of 'Temptation Greets You Like Your Naughty Friend', performed with Dizzie Rascal. The band have headlined their own "mini-festival" at Lancashire County Cricket Ground on the 28-29 July 2007, with support acts Amy Winehouse, The Coral, Supergrass and the Japanese Beatles tribute band The Parrots. |
