Views: 14470 |  |  |  |  | I know the traditional way to play this is in drop D, but recently I've been doing it in double-drop D - both of those ways I find difficult to sing. So this is in double-drop C I guess - ie D-modal down a step. Sounds like a nasty disease! Some of the vo ...More cal still strained, but I prefer it to the earlier version. The song is special to me as it was one of the first I learned to play where the guitar at least sounded something like the original. And I used to play it to my daughter when she was a toddler, and she would dance around and laugh ... now of course it's 'shut up Dad', which is slightly better than my wife's 'is somebody being ill' as soon as I start to try to sing! |
